Interactive computerized program that focuses on phonemic awareness and phonics.  We run reports to determine areas of weakness and teach intesive skill groups based on this information. Primarily used with kindergarten and first grade students.


95% Group's Phonics Lesson Library (PLL)

Most students who fall in yellow or red on Aimsweb are given a phonics screener to determine placement in this program.  For example, one group may be on short O sound while another group is learning beginning blends.  It is a very targeted intervention that focuses solely on phonics,  It is used in 1st through 5th grades.


 Fountas & Pinnell

This program covers all areas of reading: phonemic awareness, phonics, comprehension, vocabulary, and fluency.  There is also a writing component.  If is intended for students who are yellow on Aimsweb and below grade level on DRA.  It is used primarily with 1st and 2nd graders.


System 44

Interactive computer protion, recorded books, and small group instruction.  Reports give a lot of perinent information regarding student progress.  Assessments are administered 3 times a year to determine progress.  It is used in 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades.
