5th Grade Field Day – Tomorrow, Thursday, April 30th

Dear 5th Grade Families,
We are excited to invite you to attend our 5th Grade Field Day on April 30th! Students from West, East, and North Elementary Schools will all be participating in this wonderful opportunity to celebrate our students and enjoy a fun day of competition and community.
Event Details:
- Gates open for families: 9:00 AM
- Parking: Parents may park along State Street. Please enter through the main stadium gates.
- Student Arrival: 9:30 AM (students must wear their blue shirts)
- Event Start Time: 10:00 AM
- Field Events: 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM
- Track Events: 11:00 AM – 12:45 PM
Spectator Information: Parents are welcome to attend as spectators to cheer on our athletes. Please note that all parents and guests will sit in the outside rows of the home side of the stadium. Students will remain with their classes throughout the duration of the event.
Sportsmanship & Spectator Etiquette
To ensure a positive and encouraging environment for all our young athletes, we ask that all spectators model the highest level of sportsmanship. Please join us in:
- Cheering for Everyone: While we know you are excited to support your own student, we encourage you to celebrate the effort and achievements of all participants from West, East, and North.
- Respecting Officials & Staff: Our school staff and volunteers are working hard to ensure the events run smoothly, safely, and fairly. Please show them respect and patience throughout the day as they manage the rotations and student groups.
- Positive Encouragement: Let’s keep the focus on fun, teamwork, and personal bests.
Field Day Schedule:
- 9:30 – 9:45: Students parade into the stadium and take their places with their school.
- 9:45 – 10:00: Opening activities, including the National Anthem and event directions.
- 10:00 – 1:00: Field Day events and station rotations.
- 1:00 – 1:30: Closing Ceremony.
- 1:30 – 1:45: Students dismissed to return to their schools.
