Dear West Elementary Families, 

It is officially Teacher Appreciation Week, and we are ready to shower our amazing educators with Redbird love! Our teachers work tirelessly to create a magical learning environment for our students, and this week is all about honoring their dedication.

We want to make this week extra special with some heartfelt gestures. Here are a few great ways your student can join the celebration:

• Handmade Art & Notes: A hand-drawn picture or a simple "thank you" note is often a teacher’s favorite keepsake. Your student can bring these in any day this week to hand-deliver to their teacher.
• The "Top 3" List: Ask your child to name three things they love about their classroom or their teacher, and jot them down on a piece of paper for them to share.
• A "Redbird" High-Five: Encourage your student to start the day with an extra-big smile and a "Happy Teacher Appreciation Week!" greeting when they walk into class.
• Acts of Kindness: We are encouraging all our Redbirds to be "Super Helpers" this week by looking for extra ways to be kind and helpful in their classrooms.
